Polestar 2 is available for order in EuropeMarch 19, 2020
Booking was already possible earlier, but from today, the fully electric Polestar 2 can be ordered in Europe. Delivery of previously reserved copies should begin in July.
The promising competitor Tesla Model 3 Polestar 2 previously received the final European price, so there is no news in this area. Interestingly, the Pilot and Plus packages are currently included in the base price.
In other words, for 59,800 euros you get in Polestar with the Pilot Assist and an impressive range of other driving aids. Thanks to the standard Plus package, luxury items such as a panoramic glass roof, Harman Kardon audio system and heated seats are always present.
Black Polestar is available within 60 thousand euros, because all other colors cost an additional 1000 euros. As with Polestar 1, the company offers only a selection of muted classic shades such as gray, navy blue and white. Three colors are also available for the interior. With the Performance package, large wheels, large brakes, yellow belts, and a folding tow hook are added.
At first glance, the Polestar 2 configurator bears a striking resemblance to the Tesla ordering process. The white web page offers a choice of several options, after which you can immediately determine the payment method. In addition, in terms of price, the Polestar 2 is close to its great rival Tesla: for € 58,980, the Model 3 Long Range offers 560 theoretical kilometers, and Volvo’s brother promises about 500 km.
Polestar says the first deliveries of electric crossovers are scheduled for July 2020. This promise is commendable as the global automotive industry is currently under threat due to coronavirus.
