22-year-old Briton turned city-car Mini into a real supercar
A 22-year-old resident of the United Kingdom turned the classic MINI into a “pocket rocket”. He equipped the city car with a turbocharged Honda engine, a huge rear wing, reinforced Willwood brakes, and also greatly remodeled the car’s interior.
The 1.6-liter unit B16, equipped with a turbocharger Garrett GT3076R, produces 360 horsepower. In the plans of the owner to bring the payback to more than 500 hp and from a front-wheel drive turn the car into a four-wheel drive. In addition to the new engine, MINI received Recaro racing seats, sport pedals and a five-speed “mechanics”.
