Plan for two weeks: Elon Musk is going to produce 1,000 Tesla Model 3 per dayNovember 18, 2018
By the end of November, Tesla intends to significantly increase the production of its Model 3 sedans and lower 7,000 electric vehicles a week from the assembly line.
The relevant information is contained in the letter of Elon Musk to the company’s employees.
In July of this year, Tesla has already reached the mark of 5,000 ready-made electric cars per week. Nevertheless, there is no information about how many machines are currently descending from the conveyor.
On November 27 and 28, Musk visited a plant in Fremont, California. After that, his order appeared that the company should reach the level of production of 50 units per hour or more, “since it is precisely this that is necessary for the production of 1000 cars per day”.
Note that it was Tesla Model 3 that became the first budget model of the brand. The company expects that access to the target production will allow to obtain sufficient cash flow in order to avoid the need to attract new capital.
