Pininfarina Battista debuts with 1,874 hp electric tractionMarch 5, 2019
The bodybuilding studio decided to “qualitatively rush” into the electric segment of supercars. The car will receive a battery of 120 kW * hours, acceleration to “hundreds” less than 2 seconds and a maximum speed of about 350 km / h.
What will happen if you take engineers with experience on Bugatti Veyron and Chiron, Ferrari Sergio, Lamborghini Urus, McLaren P1, Mercedes AMG-Project One, Pagani Zonda and Porsche Mission E and make them work on a completely new electric car with unprecedented power in a serial car? As a result, will receive a new hypercar Battista – the firstborn of the company Automobili Pininfarina. Moreover, the car is approved for use on public roads.
The premiere of an electric car with a staggering 1874 horsepower and 2,300 Nm of torque will be held today at the Geneva Motor Show. The design of the car uses four electric motors, which allows the model to accelerate to “hundreds” in less than two seconds, and to 300 km / h in just 12 seconds. Power reserve will be about 450 kilometers due to the battery 120 kW * hours.
Inside the Battista there are three digital screens that are aimed at the driver. Basic information (for example, vehicle speed) is in the middle. Instruments of the car are on another display, and the navigation data is on the third.
Pininfarina Battista will be released in a limited edition of 150 copies. Production of the model will begin only next year, so the cost is still unknown.
