Photos of the Wey Tank 300 show appeared on the webAugust 28, 2020
Founded by China’s Great Wall in 2016, the premium brand Wey is set to launch its first off-road vehicle, the Tank 300.
The Chinese brand has not yet announced the engine, but the list of available equipment has been declassified, and new images of the new interior have also appeared.
So, the interior is made to match the appearance – straight lines (front panel) and circles (air deflectors) are combined inside. The virtual “tidy” is combined with the touch screen of the infotainment complex, both displays have a diagonal of 12.3 inches. Leather and metal were used in the interior decoration. The SUV has got a non-fixed automatic transmission joystick. In addition, the model was equipped with all-round cameras, adaptive cruise control, a system that allows you to select modes of travel (there are 9 in total), and other functions.
The Wey Tank 300 is based on a new platform called the Wey Tank. At the same time, according to the local press, the closest “relative” of the novelty is the Haval H9. As for the dimensions of the new items, they have not yet been officially announced, while it is assumed that the length will be 4.5 – 4.7 meters.
The engine range has not yet been revealed, but some Chinese media report that the Tank 300 will receive a unit from the Haval H9: a 224-horsepower 2.0-liter GW4C20B gasoline turbo four, on the H9 it is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. According to other sources, the Wey SUV will get a new 2.0-liter turbo engine of the 4N20 series, its flagship version develops 245 hp.
In China, the presentation of the serial Tank 300 will take place before the end of this year.
In addition, it was recently noted that the American company Dodge announced the cost of the Durango SUV version of the 2021 model year. It should be emphasized that the brand’s dealers have already started taking orders for the new product.
