Photos of the updated Mercedes C-Class Estate station wagon appeared on the webAugust 11, 2020
The journalists published pictures from the tests of the updated station wagon C-class Estate. It seems that the new 2021 model year will receive a massive MBUX infotainment system, similar to that of the more luxurious S-class.
The updated sedan version of the C-Class has already been seen several times during test trials, while the new station wagon was first spotted just last month. This time, our editorial office received photos from the next tests of the C-Class Estate prototype – this designation is traditionally the universal version of the model. This time, journalists were able to capture the interior of the car.
As expected, the C-Class Estate’s interior has the same layout as its sedan sibling, only it’s more spacious at the rear.
The dashboard is adorned with two large screens, one for the dashboard and the other that will act as the screen for the new MBUX infotainment system. The center screen resembles that of the more representative new generation S-class – where it is located in the center and extends to the center console.
As for the exterior of the novelty, the C-Class station wagon seen here is not much different from the prototype that was first seen last month. There is not much camouflage on the body of the car and you can see that this prototype has a different set of wheels. Expect the new C-Class Estate to get the same proportions as the current station wagon.
The C-class wagon is likely to debut next year a few months after the updated sedan model is revealed. A more off-road version of the station wagon (4Matic all-wheel drive and increased ground clearance) is expected to receive the All-Terrain designation, which will compete with the A4 Allroad.
Not so long ago, AutoTimesNews wrote that the updated Mercedes-AMG S63 will receive an 800-horsepower plug-in hybrid engine. According to German profile media reports, the most powerful version of the new generation S-class executive sedan will receive the designation Mercedes-AMG S63 EQ Performance 4Matic +. The novelty will be able to boast of 800 hp. The debut will take place next year.
