New Kia Ceed of the third generation will receive another front panel and interior trim with better materials. Hatchback debuts in March at the Geneva Motor Show
At the disposal of the edition Carscoops were spy photos of the interior of the hatchback Kia Ceed of the new generation. The public premiere of the novelty will be held in March at the Geneva Motor Show.
Judging by the pictures, the new Ceed will receive a thicker steering wheel, a completely different front panel and finishes with better materials. Plus, there will be a new instrument panel with two analog dials and a small digital display in the middle. Finally, the hatchback will receive another transmission selector, above which will be a separate screen of the multimedia complex.
According to unofficial data, the line of engines will include a gasoline three-cylinder supercharged engine with a working volume of one liter of 120 hp, as well as a 1.4-liter “four”, which produces 140 horsepower. In addition, diesel engines of 1.6 liters capacity will be available, developing 110 and 136 forces. Transmission is a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic transmission with two clutches.
The company also noted that in Geneva, along with the hatchback debuts another version of the body. Apparently, this is a universal. As it is expected, in the future the list of modifications will be replenished with the car with the body of Shooting Brake, as well as the all-road variant. European sales of the new Kia Ceed will start in the second half of this year. The launch of the model in the Russian market will be announced later.
