This is our first look at the large double cab pickup. The beginning of sales of the American novelties are scheduled for this year.

In fact, these photos with a hefty American GMC Sierra HD 2020 model pickup are not “spy”. The full-size truck was officially unveiled last month. Now we invite you to take a look at the version of the big guy with a Double Cab or, if in Russian, a double cabin. It is reported that the observed prototype was tested on the roads of Michigan (USA).

What is the difference between Crew Cab and Double Cab? It lies in the inner space, Double Cab or Double Cab, offering less space for rear passengers. Version Crew Cab offers rear passengers, as they say, in full growth.

Buyers will be able to order a pickup truck with a double or single cab for either the standard version or the extended version. The red pickup pictured here gives us a glimpse of the GMC Sierra HD Double Cab, equipped with a shorter load platform.[IP]&ua=[UA]&domain=[DOMAIN]&page=[PAGE]&secure=[SECURE]&language=[BROWSER_LANGUAGE]&bidfloor=[BIDFLOOR]&gdpr_consent=[GDPR_CONSENT]

While there is no accurate data on the engines for the new Sierra HD, especially nothing is unclear about the new petrol V8. But it is known that the pickup will still be equipped with a 6.6-liter V8 turbodiesel, producing 445 hp (1234 Nm).

The Double Cab is generally not as popular as the Crew Cab, and admittedly, the smaller cabin looks a little awkward with a huge front grille. It’s not surprising that GMC hasn’t shown us official photos of this version yet, but at least we now know what to expect when HD models appear in dealerships this year.
