At the end of February, Peugeot will unveil a new emblem, which will debut on the new generation 308. The detail has been seen on the steering wheel of the first prototype of the new compact car, which will also be unveiled in 2021. This is the first big event Linda Jackson will face as a brand manager.
One of the most influential women in business decisions at STELLANTIS and Peugeot in particular is Linda Jackson. Carlos Tavares’ right-hand man will appear at the wheel of Peugeot at the end of February with the official presentation of his new emblem – an important change that will be reflected in all new models of the French company.
The first will be the third-generation Peugeot 308 and will appear on the steering wheel of the first prototype seen late last summer during a test session in Germany. It will be not only a detail of the interior, but also of the exterior, because it will be present on the radiator grille and in the tailgate. The logo appeared on the Peugeot Legend Concept, a preview of the electric sports car that was unveiled at the 2018 Paris Motor Show.
The new emblem will also appear in a new batch of models that will be released alongside the new 308. The big event for the brand will take place on February 25th. A logo with retro elements that will give a new look to the most elegant, modern and sporty models of the French brand. It is worth noting that its design has been updated over time, but has not affected the standing lion silhouette that has been in use since 1975. The design of the new part is very similar to that of the Peugeot 404 in 1960, with a coat of arms with a black background, which displays the brand name in capital letters at the top and a painted lion’s head in gold.
