Peugeot unveils e-Traveler electric vanJune 4, 2020
Peugeot showed off the e-Traveler electric van for Europe.
The novelty should appear on the European market in the second half of this year. The van will be offered in two versions of the wheelbase: 4.95 m and 5.3 m. The new model will receive an 8-seater layout with a loading space of 1,500 liters. At the same time, this figure increases to 3000 liters when folding three seats and to 4900 liters when using only the front seats.
The e-Traveler, which is built on the EMP2 platform, is equipped with a 134-hp electric motor. and 260 Nm of torque. The electric van accelerates to 100 km / h in 35.8 seconds and accelerates as much as possible to 130 km / h.
The kWh battery located under the floor provides a range of 230 km using the WLTP cycle. The battery can be charged up to 80% in 30 minutes using a 100 kW charger. In turn, from the home network e-Traveler is fully charged in 31 hours.
Distinctive features of the e-Traveler from the rest of the line are a special radiator grill, a charging port located on the left front wing and the “e-Traveler” monogram at the back.
Inside the van, it is worth noting the presence of an infotainment system with 3D graphics, a main screen, an electric parking brake and a drive mode selector for Eco, Normal and Power. In Power mode, the electric motor produces 134 hp. (260 Nm), in Normal – 107 hp (210 Nm), and in Eco – 80 hp (180 Nm).
