Peugeot is betting on a compact crossover 2008. Analysts expect that the new generation of the model will be in great demand in the European market. Moreover, for the first time he will receive an all-electric power plant.

 Peugeot e-2008 2020 model year will be equipped with one electric motor with a maximum power of up to 136 horsepower. A battery of 50 kW * hours will be installed as a power source, which will provide up to 300 km of power reserve. From a regular outlet, the battery can be charged overnight. Using a 100 kW fast charging station, it will be possible to recharge a charge of 160 km in 20 minutes.

 In design, the new e-2008 is typical of Peugeot, although it has clear modern features. Despite the compact dimensions, four adults fit with relative comfort, but the fifth person will already create inconvenience. The interior does not stand out anything special.

 Transmission electric car will receive two driving modes: economy and normal. In energy-saving mode, the dynamics are very sluggish, even for city driving. In standard mode, the car feels confident.

At the moment, the company is taking pre-orders for the new Peugeot e-2008. First deliveries are scheduled for early next year.

In the meantime, Peugeot showed the 208 Rally 4 racing hatchback. This model should replace the notorious Peugeot 208 R2, which always performed well on rally tracks.
