Peugeot e-Boxer will receive two batteries to choose fromAugust 28, 2020
The French automaker will offer buyers an electric car with five base lengths and roof heights, as well as different interior volumes. The load capacity of the e-Boxer ranges from 1,150 to 1,285 kilograms.
The PSA Group continues to actively work towards the electrification of its commercial range. The French were the first to transfer their “younger” models to electric traction, but now the turn has come to larger vans.
So, the brand presented the serial version of the Peugeot e-Boxer. Externally, the electric Boxer is not much different from a car with a traditional engine. From the new only nameplates with the model name, turquoise letters “e” on the front fenders and a charging hatch. It was placed where the neck of the tank used to be.
Regardless of the version chosen by the buyer, the electric car is equipped with a 122-horsepower electric motor. But the battery capacity can be chosen – 37 or 70 kW • h.
With the first battery, the electric car will be able to accelerate to 110 km / h, and its range will be 200 kilometers. The top battery guarantees a range of 340 kilometers. At the same time, the declared maximum speed is slightly lower – 90 km / h.
It will take from one to 12 hours to recharge the electric car. The total time will depend on the size of the battery and the type of charging terminal.
