Peugeot has introduced an updated figure of a lion and a new brand slogan – MOTION & e-MOTION, symbolizing the transition to an era of electrification. The official presentation of the new branded elements will be held at the Geneva Motor Show.
In 2019, Peugeot starts electrifying the model range. The new corporate slogan – MOTION & e-MOTION – symbolizes a new milestone in the history of the brand. The previous motto – MOTION & EMOTION – was created in 2010 in honor of the 200th anniversary of the brand. The prefixes “e” in the word “e-MOTION” with green and blue dichroic brilliance mark the company’s gradual transition to electric vehicles. The MOTION & e-MOTION slogan has already been used by the company in presentations of the Peugeot e-Legend concept car and the Peugeot 3008, 508 and 508 SW plug-in hybrid versions.
At the Geneva Motor Show, Peugeot will also demonstrate a new look for the brand symbol – a lion figurine. For the first time, the symbol of “pride, strength and superiority of the brand” was presented at the Geneva Motor Show last spring. The lion figurine was designed by designers PEUGEOT Design Lab in honor of the 160th anniversary of the company logo. This year, it “will come to life thanks to the green-blue dichroic light effect.”
