Peugeot 308 hatchback is available in the new version of Roadtrip EditionJune 19, 2020
Peugeot introduced a new version for the updated compact hatchback 308. According to company representatives themselves, the novelty, which received the designation Roadtrip, is designed for travel.
The French automaker has announced a well-equipped special series of its compact hatchback, called Roadtrip. Based on the Allure Pack package, the new 308 Roadtrip Limited Edition is available starting today in hatchback and SW (station wagon) bodies.
The novelty has special visual differences, as well as an extended list of standard equipment, which, according to company representatives, is an “explicit invitation to travel.”
The Peugeot 308 in the Roadtrip version has badges representing the special version on the front fenders, 16-inch Zircon wheels, as well as tinted windows on the rear doors and the tailgate.
Inside, there are key elements such as Alcantara upholstery and diamond-inspired PET fabrics with Sunset Orange and Tramontane Gray embroidery, front seat stickers with the Roadtrip logo, and orange Sunset and Tramontane Gray embroideries for steering wheel, door panels, center armrest and gear lever. The aluminum sports pedals and footrests, the Peugeot logo on the door sills and stitching mats in Orange Sunset and Tramontane Gray complete the changes.
The standard options for the Peugeot 308 Roadtrip are a 10-inch i-Cockpit digital dashboard creen, an electric parking brake, TomTom Traffic connected to 3D navigation, and digital radio (DAB). There is adaptive cruise control, a Visiopark system with a 180-degree rear-view camera, automatic emergency braking and a warning about the risk of a collision, an active warning of leaving a lane (or a warning of leaving a road), a warning of loss of attention by the driver, automatic switching of long-range light and speed sign recognition.
Not so long ago, AutoTimesNews wrote that the Peugeot 308 received a minor update. The second generation Peugeot 308 appeared on the car market in 2013, having survived a minor update 4 years later. <
