Parking in the US forced BoeingJune 25, 2019
Washington State Parking Loaded Planes
Renton, WA motorists, found it difficult to find a free parking space. The fact is that the company Boeing, which is based in the city, is now using parking for storing faulty 737 Max aircraft.
According to the local television channel King 5 News, drivers are forced to literally share parking with Boeing. In total in the world there are about 500 aircraft withdrawn from operation of 737 Max. About 100 of them are currently waiting for repairs at Boeing’s Renton facility.
Earlier this year, Boeing 737 Max flights were banned in the United States, followed by the European Agency for National Security (EASA) banned the Boeing 737 MAX 8 and Boeing 737 MAX 9 in the entire European Union airspace. This decision was made after the crash of 737 MAX 8 of the Ethiopian airline, which killed all 157 people on board.
Boeing investigated the plane crash and concluded that the cause was the wrong angle of entry of the “attack sensor”. Later, another problem was discovered in the software of this model, unrelated to the first.
