Pagani Huayra will receive an extreme version of the DragonMarch 21, 2019
Hypercar will feature advanced aerodynamics and color scheme of the body.
The company Pagani Automobili is working on a new version of the Huayra hypercar called Dragon. The customer was Russian TopCar Design. According to unconfirmed information, the total circulation of the issue of Huayra Dragon will be only five copies.
From the usual Huayra version of the Dragon will differ primarily in the aerodynamic body kit: a fixed wing of carbon fiber and an “aggressive” diffuser will appear at the back, an air intake with a crest on the roof. In addition, the ventilation slots will receive the front and rear fenders, as well as the side skirts. Complete the appearance of the “Dragon” will be contrasted with the overall body color bright accents.
Changes in technology are unlikely to be expected, which means Pagani Huayra Dragon will receive a 6.0-liter V12 with two turbochargers from the top-end Huayra BC, issuing 800 horsepower and 1100 Nm of torque. The box is a seven-speed Xtrac robotized transmission with carbon synchronizers and electro-hydraulic actuators. To “hundreds” of Huayra BC accelerates in 2.7 seconds, but the “Dragon” may well be a little faster.
Last August, Pagani showed a special version of the Huayra Roadster, named after one of the fastest falcon birds, the Gyrfalcon. A special feature of the car was the white color of the body with accents of dark blue and golden brown, as well as images of a gyrfalcon on the headrests and door cards.
