Pagani began tests of the most powerful model Huayra DragonMay 30, 2019
A few months ago, rumors about the upcoming Huayra Dragon, a special limited-version version of a mid-engined hypercar, appeared to be even more extreme than the already hardcore Huayra BC.
Now the rumors were confirmed by the first video. After all, apparently, the company began testing the new Huayra on the highway in Italy, where the disguised prototype was filmed.
It is reported that the new Pagani project will receive a Dragon nameplate, and will be released in the amount of only five units after the roadster is completed, and one of the copies has already been ordered by the TopCar Design tuning studio.
The new Italian hypercar will continue to use the AMG V12 twin-turbo engine, which on the Huayra BC version develops 745 hp and 1100 Nm of torque, working in tandem with a 7-speed automatic. However, it is possible that the Dragon can equip more powerful versions of the engine.
Extreme Huayra is different due to its even more aggressive design, including a large air bucket on the roof, a deeper front splitter, side skirts, a different, but the same massive wing and a wide rear diffuser in the style of Le Mans.
