Each of the 106 customers of the new superhybrid of the British brand will receive a memorable sculpture, the production of which will take more than 100 hours

Each of the 106 owners of the fastest road supercar company McLaren will receive a special sculpture, “not worth the price.” A photograph of the statuette was published by the press service of the British brand.

Sculpture is a copy of the three-seat interior of the future coupe, which will become the ideological successor of the legendary F1 model. The production of each figurine, weighing 3.6 kg, will take more than 100 hours, 30 of which will be hand-polished.

At the moment, the project of the most extreme road supercar McLaren is known as the BP23 Hyper-GT. He will receive a three-seater salon, where the driver’s seat will be located in the middle, and two passenger – on the sides slightly behind.

Supercar will be equipped with a hybrid gasoline-electric power plant, details of which have not yet been reported. According to preliminary data, the basis for it will be a four-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which is now used on the supercar 720S. Judging by the teaser, the maximum speed of the car, depicted on the electronic speedometer, will be 243 miles per hour (391 km per hour). For comparison, the maximum F1 is 389 km per hour.

As expected, McLaren BP23 will appear closer to the end of this year, and its deliveries to customers will begin next year. A total of 106 cars will be produced, each costing about $ 2.5 million.
