Owners of charged Audi offered wheels at the price of Renault DusterJuly 27, 2018
Atelier ABT Sportsline introduced a limited series of wheel rims for the Audi RS5 coupe and RS4 Avant wagon. A novelty called ABT Aerowheel debuted in February on RS6 + Phoenix, built for the famous skier and auto enthusiast Jon Olsson. The set of discs was valued at a cost of Renault Duster – 11 690 euros
ABT Aerowheel are the standard 21-inch ABT Sport GR wheels, which are painted in the golden color of Racing Gold and equipped with carbon fiber aerodynamic flaps. A similar solution is used on Formula Y cars.
The same wheels were installed on a unique hybrid Audi RS6-E equipped with a power unit consisting of a 4.0-liter Biturbo V8 engine, an electric motor directly connected to the driveshaft and a battery with a capacity of 13.6 kilowatt-hours.
The total output of the unit is 1000 horsepower and 1291 Nm of torque. From 100 to more than 300 kilometers per hour, the hybrid RS6 can accelerate in 10 seconds. Other information about the car has not yet been reported. However, it is known that the most powerful non-hybrid RS6, built by ABT, produces 735 hp and 920 Nm of torque. From a place to 100 km/h such a machine accelerates in less than 3.4 seconds.
