The German brand announced the premiere of the Astra restyled hatchback, which will receive a number of changes in appearance, and a modernized multimedia complex
The company Opel has published a series of teasers, giving an idea of the design of the updated model Astra. Pictures of some elements of the body of the hatchback were placed in the official twitter of the German brand.
Judging by the photos, the updated Astra will receive modernized headlights and taillights, slightly modified exterior mirrors. In addition, as expected, after restyling hatchback will get another radiator grille and a new front bumper. Plus, it is assumed that the information and entertainment system will undergo modernization.
Whether restyling Astra with new engines will be available is not yet known. It is possible that the lineup can be replenished by the aggregates of the French alliance Groupe PSA, part of which Opel became in the summer of 2017.
At the moment Opel Astra is offered with gasoline and diesel engines. The first are represented by a 1.4-liter 100-hp atmospheric unit, a three-cylinder supercharged engine with a displacement of one liter, and 1.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, which produce 125 and 150 hp. In addition, top engine 1.6 is available, giving out 200 horsepower.
The diesel line includes 1.6-liter engines with a capacity of 95 to 136 horsepower. In addition, the German brand offers a biturbo motor of the same size, developing 160 forces and 350 Nm of torque.
