Opel showcases electric Zafira-e LifeJune 17, 2020
The German brand Opel, part of the PSA Group, showed the Zafira-e Life electric van.
According to the company’s press service, the electric van is standardly equipped with a 50 kW / h battery, providing a range of 230 km through the WLTP cycle. At the same time, an optional 75 kW / h battery is also offered, increasing autonomy up to 330 km.
According to the manufacturer, the appearance of the battery did not affect the volume of the trunk in any way, while it positively affected the balance of the center of gravity. Using a quick charger, the Zafira-e Life battery can be recharged up to 80% in 30 minutes.
The electric van is equipped with a single electric motor located in front, with a capacity of 134 hp. and 260 Nm of torque. The maximum speed of the novelty is 130 km / h.
The Zafira-e Life can accommodate up to 9 passengers, and it is offered in three wheelbase lengths: Small, Medium and Large.
The cost of the Opel electric van is not yet known, orders in Europe and the UK should start this summer, and deliveries, in turn, are scheduled for the current year.
