Opel posted a photo of a mysterious modelAugust 22, 2019
Opel has published a teaser for the mysterious model, which will show at the Frankfurt Motor Show in addition to those that have already been announced earlier.
The manufacturer has already announced its premiere list for Frankfurt – in September, the public will present new generations of Astra and Corsa models, a hybrid GrandLand X and a version of Zafira Life. However, on a fresh teaser, none of the listed cars are presented.
The teaser is posted on the manufacturer’s twitter. Opel did not say anything specific, but it seems that it is an electric car in front of us – the description says that the company “still has to hide its secret of electrification.”
The fact that under the veil of the concept is indirectly indicated by yellow tires, a small part of which is visible in the image. The brand used color emphasis on wheels in concepts from the Opel GT family. The latter was shown a year ago, at the end of August 2018.
Then the public presented the electric compact crossover GT X Experimental. They did not disclose the power of the electric motor, saying only that the capacity of the lithium-ion battery is 50 kilowatt hours, and also that the show car is equipped with a third-level autopilot.
In terms of size, the new concept is more similar to the GT X Experimental, so it is likely that this year in Frankfurt Opel will show a more realistic version of the electric car from the GT X line. The official press conference of the brand, where its representatives will reveal data on new products, is scheduled for 10 September
