Opel introduced a new three-row SUV for testingAugust 21, 2019
The appearance of new items is expected only next year. Now a large SUV is undergoing road tests in Europe.
The network has spy shots of the new three-row SUV from Opel. It was possible to capture the novelty, reliably hidden from prying eyes by a dense layer of “camouflage” during road tests in Europe. There were no similar SUVs in the lineup of the German brand. It is expected that the new seven-seater SUV will be located one step above the Opel Grandland X crossover. In the pictures we see a test prototype created on the basis of the Peugeot 5008.
The main feature of the future news will be its design, which will differ from the current models of the brand. A large three-row SUV will acquire a huge grille, massive air intakes and “narrowed” head optics. Buick crossover taillights combine a thin chrome strip. Also new to the spoiler and bifurcated exhaust pipes.
The Opel Three Row, which does not even have an official name, was spotted on the road tests for the first time, which indicates the initial stage of testing. However, auto experts expect to get acquainted with the new product at the beginning of next year.
According to experts, the basis for the new SUV will be the elongated EMP2 platform from the Peugeot 5008, and the gasoline and diesel engines will be part of the engine range. But the drive, in all likelihood, will be front.
