Opel announces prices for the Zafira-e Life electric busSeptember 18, 2020
Opel has named the price of the all-electric version of the Zafira Life. The electric version of the passenger bus, replacing the Zafira of previous years, has a base price of just over € 50,000 inclusive of VAT.
Opel offers an electric version of the Vivaro: the Vivaro-e. This electric LCV is also available in the relatively simple passenger version of the Vivaro Combi. With Zafira Life, Opel offers a higher quality passenger bus, which, compared to the Vivaro Combi, not only has better interior materials, but also has better sound insulation. The all-electric version of this Zafira Life has also entered the market: the Zafira-e Life has received a European price tag.
The starting price for the version of Zafira-e Life 4.95 meters long is 43,099 euros), including VAT, this amount for individuals increases to 52,150 euros. In addition, Opel supplies Zafira-e Life with a length of 5.3 meters to Europe.
Initially, the Zafira-e Life will only be available with a 50 kWh battery, allowing it to cover a modest 230 kilometers on a single charge. Versions with the more powerful 75 kWh package will arrive early next year and will have a range of 330 kilometers. In all cases, the front wheels are driven by a 136 hp electric motor. and 260 Nm.
The Opel Zafira-e Life can charge up to 100 kW from a DC charger. Depending on the version selected, the AC charging takes place from a single or three phase on-board charger. The 11 kW charger is standard on the first models to hit the market, followed by a cheaper version with a 7.4 kW charger.
