Don’t expect GMC Hummer EV electric pickups to appear in every dealership of the brand, since now only half of them have announced their readiness to sell the new product.

“Since the electric pickup Hummer EV is a rather exotic car, unlike other cars of the brand, so far only half of the dealers have signed an agreement to sell an electric car,” – quotes a spokesman for GMC agency Muscle Cars & Trucks.

The problem is also that GMC dealers have to agree to several conditions in order to be able to sell the Hummer EV, and some of them are reluctant to take on the associated costs. So, charging stations should be installed, and staff trained.

Recall that earlier began accepting pre-orders for the Hummer EV Edition 1 ($ 112,595), which should appear first. In the fall of 2022, a version of the model with the prefix EV3X ($ 99,995) is expected, in the spring of 2023 – a version of the EV2X ($ 89,995), and in 2024 – the base modification ($ 79,995)

GMC is also developing a fully enclosed version of the electric Hummer EV. At the same time, it is currently unknown when such a car may appear on the market.

In addition, it was recently noted that American enthusiasts have turned the GMC Sierra pickup into a unique vehicle. It should be emphasized that the main difference between the converted truck and the standard model is the very short wheelbase.
