On the set of “Mission Impossible” seen without a door BMW M5October 11, 2020
A video appeared on the Web showing Tom Cruise driving a BMW M5 without a door sedan. The video was filmed during the filming of the new film from the Mission: Impossible franchise.
BMW has partnered with Mission Impossible since 2011, when we first saw the i8 hybrid supercar concept in a cameo in Mission Impossible: Phantom Protocol. This partnership led to the creation of the film’s sixth installation, Mission Impossible – Fallout, where Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) drove a BMW M5.
Judging by the video that appeared on the YouTube channel SupercarsNews, BMW continues to take part in the creation of the seventh part of the blockbuster.
Despite the not very high resolution, we can see Tom Cruise driving the powerful M5 sedan – you can see the rear diffuser and four tailpipes. What is clear is that the chase scene was filmed in the narrow streets of Rome.
We’re not sure if it was Cruise who was driving the car. It is worth noting that he does not use stunt doubles for the Mission Impossible car scenes.
And one more thing. Have you noticed the cars that were filming the chase? One is a Nissan GT-R and the other looks like a first generation Porsche Cayenne.
Mission: Impossible 7 is due out in theaters on November 19, 2021, with a direct sequel to that film arriving next year around the same month.
Not so long ago, we wrote that a prototype of the updated BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe was spotted. Foreign publications have published photos from tests of a camouflaged prototype of the new BMW 4-Series Gran Coupe. The car was parked, surrounded by other BMW cars.
