Cadillac XT4 V-Sport can equip a turbo engine from a pickup Chevrolet Silverado
On the official website of Cadillac found sketches of the XT4 crossover in the “charged” version of the V-Sport. It differs from an ordinary car with an emblem on the tailgate and a forked exhaust system with massive round pipes. Confirmation of the appearance of such a crossover in the lineup from the American manufacturer has not yet been reported.
According to GM Authority, the “charged” Cadillac XT4 V-Sport will not be equipped with a V-shaped engine. Instead, the crossover will receive a hybrid power plant based on the current two-liter “turbo”. In the non-electrified version, it produces 240 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque.
The second option is a 2.7-liter L3B turbo engine from a Chevrolet Silverado pickup. Its power is 310 horsepower, and a maximum torque of 472 Nm is available in the range from 1500 to 4000 rpm.
The flagship Cadillac CT6 V-Sport, on the contrary, received a new 4.2-liter V6 gasoline engine. The unit is equipped with two turbines with a double impeller, an electronically controlled bypass valve, dual intercoolers, a system for switching off part of the cylinders and a start-stop function. The engine recoil is 557 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque.
