On tests seen 820-strong version of the Porsche Panamera?August 20, 2019
With very little ground clearance, the seen prototype of the updated Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid looks like it is literally “glued” to the canvas of the Nurburgring race track. Presentation of new items will be held next year.
Journalists captured the prototype Porsche Panamera, which was winding circles on the Nurburgring race track. The car had a fairly small clearance. It is worth noting that another version of the German fastback was noticed a few days ago, from which the current prototype differs by exhaust pipes. The fact is that the test car, the photos of which we published earlier, had false plates, and now there are four nozzles in their place, which are noticeably longer than we used to see, and they are directed to the road.
This probably means that Porsche tested the modified engine – according to our sources, its power is now equal to 820 horsepower.
The 820 is tremendous power, especially considering that the current Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid can offer “only” 670 hp. Our insiders confirm that the new model will receive an increase in power of 150 hp. 670 + 150 turns 820 HP.
Rumor has it that the 820-horsepower performance of the 5-door fastback will be shown in 2020 along with the rest of the updated Panamera family. It is reported that the family may also receive new types of bodies – coupes and convertibles. It may well be that the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid will become more expensive and in the end it will be offered for 186,200 dollars. This version has everything you need in order to set a new Nurburgring track record.
