Officially unveiled a new version of the Audi A8 LOctober 16, 2019
Audi presents a new modification of the flagship sedan called the Audi A8 L 60 TFSI e quattro.
The novelty will be available at dealerships in Europe this fall. The main difference between the model was a hybrid drive with a plug-in based on a 3.0-liter V6 turbo engine with direct injection of 340 hp. and 500 Nm of torque.
An electric motor integrated in the 8-band gearbox delivers 100 kW and 350 Nm of torque, which is transmitted to all four wheels via quattro permanent four-wheel drive. The total power of the hybrid unit is 449 hp. and 700 Nm of torque.
The battery power is 14.1 kWh and produces a voltage of 385 V. As for the dynamics of acceleration, the hybrid sedan can reach 100 km / h in 4.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 250 km / h. On electric traction, the Audi A8 L can travel at a maximum speed of 135 km / h over a distance of 46 kilometers.
The hybrid can operate in “automatic” and “forced” modes, while in the first case, the electronics focuses on the route specified in MMI Navigation Plus, and consumes battery power economically.
Audi A8 L 60 TFSI e quattro boasts a spacious relaxing lounge with the most luxurious seats with all kinds of settings, a heated footrest with massage function. The German premium brand has equipped its flagship model with innovative safety systems and driver assistance systems, as well as matrix LED headlights with Audi laser lighting and OLED taillights.
The signature elegance of the 5.3-meter sedan perfectly complements its own design elements, as well as details similar to the Audi e-tron. The horizontal DRL segments form characteristic graphics, and an exclusive set of 19-inch wheels, as well as chrome trim on the front bumper and door handles confirm the status of the Audi A8 L 60 TFSI e quattro.
Dealers have already begun accepting orders for a luxury sedan. At home, the Audi A8 L 60 TFSI e quattro is valued at least 109 thousand euros. The model will enter the world market for the fourth quarter of 2019.
