The American Rivian R1T mid-size pickup truck received the necessary equipment for off-road driving, including an additional wheel axle and LED lighting.

Participants in the Rivian Owners Forum imagined a crazy version of the R1T pickup with six wheels and increased ground clearance. The resulting car would probably be too extreme for most people, but it looks fantastic.

Compared to the standard electric Rivian R1T, the virtual car contains quite a few changes to turn it into a more robust car. Ahead there is a protective grille that repeats the shape of the headlights and bumper. A pair of LED light strips are on the roof. The stylish panel on the side of the loading platform visually lengthens the cab when viewing a truck in profile. Large wings cover large wheels and uneven off-road tires.

As the main mechanical modification, the pickup got an extra battery.

Rivian intends to offer the R1T with the largest battery on the market, and the extra battery for this car will increase the power reserve even more.

Rivian intends to offer a pickup with three available options for the electric motor. The base model has a power of 402 hp (560 Nm) and battery capacity of 105 kWh, which provides a range of more than 370 km. The average version has a power of 754 hp (1120 Nm) and a battery of 135 kWh that will allow you to travel over 483 km. The most expensive modification will offer 700 hp (1120 Nm), but it is equipped with a 180 kWh battery (range of 644 km).

Not so long ago, we wrote that the Rivian confirms the launch of the R1T truck and the R1S SUV in Australia.
