Germany needs police super cars to pursue violators on unlimited autobahns no less than Dubai. Oettinger presented a solution to this issue – the Golf 400R.

Probably, the German police do not have budget funds for the purchase of the Porsche 911 fleet and Mercedes-AMG GT, since their units are represented in livery. As an alternative, the tuning studio Oettinger offered a unique special version of the charged hatchback Volkswagen Golf 400R with a maximum speed of 290 km/h.

While the unique car is made in a single copy. It was presented earlier at the international tuning auto show in Essen. The Golf 400R is decorated with police livery and is equipped with special equipment: special signals on the roof.

Also, the special version received a full set of aerodynamic body kit: front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser and a spoiler on the trunk door. Also installed a custom hood, exhaust system with four 90-mm nozzles and 20-inch wheels with low-profile rubber Hankook.

The two-liter turbo engine was reconfigured by Oettinger engineers. Its power rise from 310 to 400 horsepower. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h now takes the car 3.6 seconds. The novelty so far has the status of a concept, and orders for it have not been received.
