The compact crossover Hyundai in the version of the sport is still presented only in the Brazilian market.

Creta’s standard crossover debuted in Brazil in the fall of 2016. “Their” model was originally different from cars presented in other countries: the Brazilian cross is another grille, horizontal fogs instead of vertical ones. A year later, Creta Sport came out on the Brazilian market, with its features – 17-inch discs of original design and a large spoiler made in a black grille, an insert on the front bumper and the case of exterior mirrors. Now in Brazil, sales of the updated crossover in the “sport” version will start.

The only innovation in the design of the sporty Creta is the black glossy strip on the luggage door instead of the former chrome plated. In the pre-reform SUV with the prefix Sport no technical changes were made, now at the crossover reconfigured the suspension.

Hyundai Creta Sport also includes the BlueMedia multimedia system, but now it has a digital TV receiver: while moving, the picture of the TV disappears, only the sound is turned on. By the way, this option is also available for the recently debuted in Brazil refreshed sedan and hatchback Hyundai HB20.

The Creta Sport engine is the same: the crossover is equipped with the Nu 2.0 Flex engine, which works on both gasoline and ethanol. In the first case, the kickback is 156 hp, in the second – 166 hp. The engine is combined with a six-speed automatic transmission. For the standard cross in Brazil, the Gamma 1.6 Flex motor (123 hp on gasoline and 130 hp on ethanol) is also provided, it is equipped with 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The drive in the Brazilian model is only front.

The price of the updated Hyundai Creta Sport starts at a mark of 97,890 reals. The standard SUV costs from 77,890 real. Outside of Brazil, the “sports” option is not yet sold.

Recall that in 2017 Hyundai updated the Creta crossover, designed for China (there the model is called ix25): the design was executed in the style of the Brazilian version of the model. And this year, restyling has survived the Indian Creta, and again on the grounds of the “Brazilian”.
