Novitec unveils 889 hp McLaren SennaNovember 8, 2020
The German tuner has created some incredible cars and this modified McLaren Senna is his latest project.
In its quest to create the ultimate street racing car, McLaren has left no chance for others. The Senna is powerful, lightweight and produces a tremendous amount of downforce. But Novitec’s Senna is even more special.
Shown in the video, the tuning Senna features a plug-and-play module with a new mapping of injection and ignition, capable of modifying electronic boost pressure control. Novitec has also created a special Inconel exhaust system for the Senna with twin 95mm tailpipes.
Thanks to modifications from the German tuner, the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 produces 889 horsepower and 888 Newton-meters of torque, vastly surpassing the 789 horsepower and 800 Nm of the standard McLaren Senna.
Novitec has also tweaked the exterior of Senna, working with Vossen to create custom 20- and 21-inch center-lock wheels that are shod with 255/30 Pirelli P Zero tires at the front and 325/25 at the rear and are available in 72 different colors.
Given that McLaren only built 500 of the standard Senna model, it’s unlikely that many of their owners will head to Novitec to tune their supercar. However, those who do it will have an even more “crazy” trip.
