In addition to Leaf second generation and conceptual crossover iMX KURO in Beijing, Nissan will show a mysterious electric car
Nissan is going to present three fully electric models in Beijing. So, the public will be shown a concept called iMX KURO. Crossover received two powerful electric motors and an autopilot function. In the unmanned mode, the steering wheel is retracted into the dashboard, and the seats can be reclined. The power reserve of the car is about 600 km.
The crossover will also be equipped with a new technology called B2V (Brain-to-Vehicle – from the brain to the car). The system interprets signals coming from the driver’s brain to help him in driving. The prototype iMX KURO was previously shown at the Geneva Motor Show. What will differ from it for the crossover for the Beijing motor show, is still unknown.
Also in Beijing, Nissan will once again show the second-generation Leaf electric car. The car was equipped with a synchronous electric motor, developing 110 kW (150 hp) and 320 Nm of torque. The power reserve of the novelty is 378 kilometers. The maximum speed is 144 km per hour.
In addition, the motor show will feature a completely new electric car, all information about which is kept secret. The novelty is focused, first of all, on the local market.
“The new electric model will debut at Auto China 2018 in Beijing and will take center stage at our stand along with the new Nissan Leaf and the concept car Nissan IMx KURO. The novelty should help meet the growing demand for electric vehicles in China, “the press service of the company said.
Nissan intends to launch eight new cars with electric power plants by 2022, and also start installing automatic control systems on at least 20 models. After 2022, Nissan expects to sell at least one million vehicles with hybrid or electric power units annually.
