Nissan updated the Nissan Kicks crossoverApril 10, 2020
Now Nissan Kicks boasts all-wheel drive.
The other day on the web there were pictures of the new product, which was noticed on a car transporter in Thailand. According to local media, the updated model was planned to be presented in mid-March, but the coronavirus made adjustments to the plans and presentation had to be postponed. However, this does not prevent the automaker from transporting cars to dealerships.
It is expected that the novelty will receive the previously announced e-Power tenology. In addition, the new Nissan Kicks will be able to boast of a hybrid version – the power plant will be borrowed from Nissan Note. There, it is represented by a bunch of 1.2-liter engine with 79 hp. and an electric unit with a return of 109 hp Also, a 5-horsepower electric motor can be placed on the rear axle, which will make it possible to make an all-wheel drive model from a crossover.
But the pictures perfectly visible changes in appearance. So, the car received a new branded grille, which makes the compact crossover visually larger. The headlights became LED and narrower, and PTFs are integrated into the ventilation diffusers.
It is expected that after Thailand, such machines will appear on the Japanese brand’s home market. Kicks crossovers on the V-platporm aggregate base are also represented in Latin America, the Middle East and China. In China, by the way, in November 2019, the car already received an update – but in this case it was a completely different design.
