Nissan showed updated crossover Juke in the videoSeptember 5, 2019
The press service of the Japanese automaker has published a video that shows the appearance of the new generation of the Juke crossover. The car began to look more familiar, but still it retained its extravagant character.
Waiting for when the high-performance version of the new generation Juke crossover finally appears? Have to disappoint you – Jerome Grigny, regional product manager for Nissan Europe, recently announced that such a version of the car is unlikely to be born. At the Old Continent, the standards for emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere are becoming more stringent, so it would be difficult for Nissan to create a powerful engine that meets these standards. Of course, it would be possible to install an electrified power plant, but still no, nothing of the kind will happen.
The new generation of the Juke crossover will become larger and lighter at the same time than the model it replaces.
He will receive an evolutionary exterior design, which is featured in a series of official videos. The revised exterior makes the crossover more familiar to passers-by, while maintaining its extravagance. The new body color of Fuji Sunset is an addition to the model and makes the design of the car even more stylish, like the large 19-inch wheels. And the effect of the “floating roof” is provided by a partially darkened rear pillar.
The start of sales of the second generation of the Juke crossover in Europe is scheduled for the end of November this year. Like its predecessor, the funky crossover will be built in the UK at the company’s plant in Sunderland.
