Nissan shared information about the new crossover Datsun MagniteMay 10, 2020
Until recently, there was no information on the new model in addition to the name, but on Sunday, May 10, the manufacturer released information about a similar car for the Indian market, which will appear on sale under the name Nissan Magnite.
It should be noted that 2 months ago, the name Datsun Magnite was registered in the database of the Federal Institute of Industry.
The cross is based on the cheapened architecture CMF from the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance. This platform provides only a front-wheel drive system and the presence of a torsion beam in the rear.
The model will receive a length of less than 4 meters. Cross for India is equipped with a 100-horsepower 1.0-liter turbo engine, paired with which the manual gearbox or the Xtronic variator will function. The cross variation is likely to acquire a 114-horsepower “aspirated” H4M 1.6-liter from Renault Duster.
As a standard, the crossover is equipped with airbags for the driver and front passenger, an exchange rate stability system, fabric interior trim, full-time acoustics, air conditioning and stamped 15-inch wheels. The flagship version additionally has a multimedia system with a large touchscreen and 16-inch alloy wheels.
Nissan Magnite will debut in India this August. It is estimated that the novelty will cost from 525 thousand rupees.
In addition, it was recently noted that Nissan introduced a fully electric van. The model acquired the name e-NV200 XL.
