Nissan refreshes Elgrand minivan in JapanOctober 12, 2020
Sales of the updated full-size minivan Nissan Elgrand started in Japan. The car has received improved equipment and stylistic changes.
Recall that the current generation Nissan Elgrand E52 has been produced since 2010, this is the second major modernization in 10 years, the first was carried out in 2014.
The design of the minivan has been “refreshed” with a new radiator grill, which is now painted in anthracite or silver. Five new shades have been added to the body palette. In the cabin, the diagonal of the display of the media system was increased to 10, and new, more ergonomic front seats were installed.
A complex of preventive safety systems with a range of 360 degrees has been added to the basic equipment of Elgrand, it includes automatic braking when a risk of an accident is detected, including when reversing.
The modernization did not touch the technical side – the Nissan Elgrand is equipped with 2.5 and 3.5 liter gasoline engines. The first develops 170 hp, the second – 280-300 hp. depending on modification. Transmission – continuously variable variator, drive – front or full.
The updated Elgrand is available in Japan from 3,964,900 yen.
