Nissan published a teaser for the updated crossover Rogue / QashqaiJune 13, 2020
The press service of the Japanese brand introduced a teaser for the new version of the compact crossover Rogue. The debut of new items is scheduled for June 15.
Thanks to “spy” photographs, patented images and various kinds of “data leaks”, we almost all know how the Nissan Rogue (aka Qashqai) 2021 model year will look like. The debut of the long-awaited news is scheduled for Monday, June 15. The press service of the Japanese automaker has released a teaser for the next-generation model, and it confirms much of what we already knew.
We see that the V-Motion grill continues to be as noticeable as before.
There is also a design with divided headlights, including daytime running lights, which are located above the headlights, which in turn are located lower in the front bumper. We are shown a much more aggressive and “durable” crossover than the one that it replaces – it was decided to abandon the milder forms of the current generation crossover, in favor of a certain angularity.
Although Nissan will update the appearance of Rogue from the inside and out, it is still unclear what changes will occur under the hood of the crossover. There is a high probability that the current 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine will be transferred without major changes. Recent rumors suggest that the power of this motor will be 180 horsepower (237 Nm).
Despite its age, the current generation of Nissan Rogue remains a very popular car compared to its competitors. It is expected that a new generation of crossover will help him strengthen his position in the market.
Not so long ago, our publication wrote that the updated Nissan Qashqai / Rogue Sport was first noticed in tests. Nissan has begun testing prototypes of the updated Qashqai / Rogue Sport at one of its secret training grounds.
