Nissan opens the Nissan Pavilion in the summer of 2020October 22, 2019
Nissan Motor is soon planning to open the first Nissan Pavilion in early summer 2020.
Nissan Pavilion is an interactive center where you can plunge into the future of mobility created by the company, based on innovative Nissan products and technologies. In addition to providing content that can be used not only by the Japanese, but also by foreign customers, whose number may increase by 2020, it will also be used as a venue for the presentation of new world models.
“In 2020, the whole world will pay attention to Japan. At the Nissan Pavilion, we will use the world’s most advanced technologies and innovations provided by Nissan Technology and Nissan Intelligent Mobility. We’ll talk about the attractiveness of the exciting mobility society that will be realized worldwide, ”said Asako Hoshino, vice president of the company.
Nissan Pavilion will have an area of about 10,000 square meters and will open within four months in the summer as part of a partnership agreement with Yokohama City to draw even more attention to Yokohama. In addition to the current Pilot driver assistance technology and the future Invisible-Visible (I2V) technology, which visualizes invisible things and enriches lifestyle and society with electric vehicles focused on “electricity,” the exhibition will feature a wide range of such advanced technologies like Nissan Energy.
In the summer of 2020, in addition to the Nissan Global Headquarters Gallery (Yokohama) and NISSAN CROSSING (Tokyo Ginza), the new Nissan Pavilion will open, where even more customers will experience the appeal of “intellectual mobility”.
