Nissan Micra could change a generationAugust 18, 2020
While sales figures for the Nissan Micra are actually slightly behind, the Japanese automaker still sees the model’s capabilities. It became known that Nissan is talking about a change in the generation of the compact car.
Since the Nissan Micra shares its genes with the hugely popular Renault Clio, it can be assumed that the Micra is showing amazing sales in Europe. But this is not the case, and if you add to that the fact that Renault’s stake in the alliance is becoming increasingly important on the European continent, the days of the Nissan Micra could be numbered.
However, this is far from the truth – this is the conclusion of foreign journalists after a conversation with the head of Nissan’s product planning department, who spoke about the new generation of Micra. According to the top manager, the new generation Micra will share the core with the Renault Clio. In addition, Marco Fioravanti claims that the two cars will again be very different in appearance. However, he does not say how long the current Micra will last.
In Nissan’s video about all its future innovations, which was previously published by 32cars.ru, a Micra appeared and was spotted for a moment. However, according to experts, it was a restyled version of the model.
