Nissan launched the GT-R series for a million eurosDecember 7, 2018
A total of 50 Nissan GT-R cars will be produced.
Nissan has introduced a serial version of the GT-R50 supercar, developed by a Japanese manufacturer in collaboration with the Italdesign atelier. Such a car will cost 990,000 euros – orders for an exclusive coupe are already being taken.
The concept car Nissan GT-R50 was first shown this summer: it was designed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the GT-R model and the Italian studio Italdesign. However, the car was so much liked by the public that the manufacturer decided to launch it into small-scale production. It is planned to build 50 such cars.
The novelty differs from the usual GT-R with a completely new body, lighting technology and unique variants of body color – for example, as in the presented photos, in which the cars are made in bright blue color with golden accents.
The supercar is equipped with an upgraded 3.8 V6 engine from the usual Nissan GT-R Nismo. After the installation of new turbochargers, fuel system improvements, intake and exhaust, the capacity of the unit increased from 600 (637 Nm) to 720 forces (780 Nm).
The dynamic characteristics of the supercar are not specified. A regular GT-R Nismo spends 2.6 seconds to disperse a hundred. The maximum speed of the sports car is 320 kilometers per hour.
From December 7 this year, the novelty will be on display at the Nissan Gallery in Yokohama.
