Nissan introduced a special version of the crossover Qashqai N-TecJanuary 16, 2020
The new version of the Nissan Qashqai N-Tec combines enhanced design details with Nissan’s advanced ProPilot driver assistance system, Nissan’s intelligent auto parking system and NissanConnect infotainment system to meet both the aesthetic and technological needs of crossovers.
The Qashqai N-Tec can be distinguished from the standard version thanks to all-black 19-inch alloy wheels and exterior elements, including darkened headlights, a darkened front grille and glossy black exterior mirror covers. The dark theme continues on the Alcantara-trimmed seats, soft-touch materials and glossy black air vents.
The Nissan Qashqai in the N-Tec version is equipped with an advanced ProPilot system and an intelligent parking assistant, which are usually available only in top-end trim levels. So that drivers can enjoy driving, the crossover is equipped with the NissanConnect infotainment system, which includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The ProPipot system controls highway traffic and helps to keep the car in the lane, adjusts its speed, including in traffic jams, and controls the distance to the car in front.
For the release of the new Qashqai N-Tec, the automaker was pushed by data from a survey of car owners. The study, which was attended by more than 5500 drivers across Europe, showed that design and technology are two decisive factors when choosing a car. While 94% of drivers pay attention to design when choosing a vehicle, 79% of drivers believe that satellite navigation is the best innovation of recent years, followed by parking sensors (72%). Autonomous driving technology is described as the most useful in 45 percent of cases, along with intelligent fare and parking payment technology (40%). Drivers also consider it important to have cruise control (53%), a road sign recognition system (45%) and car entertainment complexes with a touch screen (41%).
