The Japanese automaker has improved the safety of the model and expanded the list of driver assistance technologies.
Nissan X-Trail received state-of-the-art safety equipment, such as millimeter-wave radar. The car will also be equipped with an intelligent emergency braking system that monitors the situation in front of the car and helps to avoid collisions with vehicles and pedestrians or reduces damage caused by collisions, uses a millimeter-wave radar, which is especially useful at night. In addition, the ProPilot technology has been finalized.
According to the company’s press service, the system detects the vehicle two cars ahead and determines that it is necessary to reduce speed due to the sudden braking of the vehicle moving in front. This system is now standard for a crossover.
It was also possible to improve the acoustic comfort in the cabin through the use of quieter tires and improved sound insulation. And in the range of modifications Nissan X-Trail were added new versions of the “20Xi Leather Edition” and “20Xi HYBRID Leather Edition”, which have a high-quality leather trim. These models, in which you can enjoy a luxurious interior, have a unique skin color – brown.
The updated crossover will go on sale on January 23, but only in the home market. There is no information on the start date for the implementation of the model in other countries.
