Nissan has fueled interest in the new Nissan Juke with three teasersAugust 20, 2019
The media recalled three teasers that Nissan released on the eve of the debut of the new Juke, which will take place on September 3. The world premiere will be held again in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
In the last image, which the Japanese automaker decided to unveil, Nissan Juke appears in profile. Prior to this, the brand showed the headlights of a future novelty, and then the design of the front part. Teasers were not particularly informative, however, Nissan clearly succeeded in warming up interest in the new product. So, judging by the images that got on the Web, the compact crossover will receive elegant LED DRLs that will be located above the round headlights with an interesting pattern, as well as a more dimensional radiator grille in the spirit of the current brand models, for example, Rogue and Murano.
Other exterior details are still difficult to make out, however, according to forecasts by auto experts, the new Juke will receive a sloping roof and a redesigned rear.
The appearance of new items on the market is expected at the beginning of next year. The basis for it was the CMF platform, on which Renault Clio and Captur are also based. The engine range has not yet been officially declassified, however, under the hood of the new Juke, they expect to see a 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 138 and 158 hp. respectively. Also, according to rumors, Juke can get a liter turbo engine and a one and a half liter diesel.
A hybrid version was also announced, where the power plant included a 1.6-liter gasoline engine, an electric motor and a 9.8 kWh battery. Without recharging such a hybrid Nissan Juke will be able to drive 30 kilometers.
