Nissan has come up with a new name for the old VersaAugust 1, 2020
The Brazilian dealership of Nissan has shared an image of the new V-Drive model, which has already been launched.
It turned out that the new name hides an affordable Versa sedan of the previous generation. The Japanese automaker decided to bring both the new model and its pre-modernized variation, renamed V-Drive, to the market.
The V-Drive is expected to be offered in several versions. The sedan will get 15 or 16-inch wheels, air conditioning, front airbags, an infotainment complex and much more. The engine lineup will be represented by 1.0- and 1.6-liter engines with an output of 77 and 111 hp. respectively. Transmission – 5-speed manual transmission or X-Tronic variator. The new model will go on sale in August and will cost slightly less than the Versa.
It should be emphasized that Vesra is also offered in other car markets. For example, it is available in the Middle East market, but under the name Sunny, and in Southeast Asia under the Almera name.
In addition, it was recently noted that a large electric SUV will appear among Nissan models. The novelty should compete with the electric vehicles Leaf and Ariya. The start of production of new items is scheduled for the end of next year.
