Nissan is considering the possibility of launching a supercar GT-R50 built in honor of the 50th anniversary of the GT-R model and Italian studio Italdesign in small-scale production. According to preliminary information, the initial price of the coupe can be 900 thousand euros. At the same time, the price for the GT-R Nismo, which was based on the GT-R50, starts at $ 175,490.

From the donor machine, the commemorative Nissan GT-R50 features a completely redesigned exterior design: the coupe has new body panels, lighting technology and an active rear fender. In this unique supercar is wider and longer than the source code.

Under the hood of the GT-R50 is a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, the output of which is increased from 600 (637 Nm) to 720 hp (780 Nm). The engine was equipped with two turbochargers from GT3 racing cars, high-performance fuel and oil injectors, and an improved ignition, intake and exhaust system.

In addition, the coupe received an enhanced six-speed robotic gearbox and electronically controlled Bilstein shock absorbers.

Dynamic characteristics of the Nissan GT-R50, which debuts at the Festival of Speed ​​in Goodwood, have not yet been reported. The usual GT-R Nismo needs 2.6 seconds to accelerate to 100 km/h. The maximum speed of the sports car is 320 kilometers per hour.
