Nissan continues to share details on new Z Proto sports carSeptember 10, 2020
A new teaser revealed more details. So the presence of a six-speed manual gearbox became obvious, which the last teaser only hinted at.
Next week, September 15, the presentation of the new Nissan sports car with the Z index will take place. The Japanese will present a prototype that will be as close as possible to the production car. Let us remind you that a commercial sports car is expected next year.
As for the new teaser, which is most likely not the last one, it confirmed the presence of a manual transmission. Also, the sports car will receive a classic hand brake instead of the button popular today. The rear lights of the new product in the spirit of the 300ZX (Z32) were also included in the frame.
We spend only 30 seconds to watch the video. This time was enough for the automaker to show us the updated Z logo, original alloy wheels and brake calipers. In the background we hear the roar of a motor. Experts predict it could be V6. The only engine characteristic that the brand announced is “powerful”.
Also, thanks to past teasers, we know that the new sports car will try on a retro design.
Meanwhile, the 500,000th Nissan Leaf electric car was released. This is the first mass-produced electric car for the Japanese brand, the first copies of which rolled off the assembly line back in 2010. “Jubilee” electric car was produced by the British plant of the company.
