Restyled pickup Nissan Navara will seriously change in appearance and receive a 190-horsepower diesel engine
Nissan has shown the Navara pickup in a teaser video that focuses on the history of this model. The official premiere of the car will take place on November 5 and will be held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In some markets, this vehicle is sold under the name Frontier.
Judging by the video, the restyled pickup will receive LED optics, enlarged air intakes, a new bumper and a large chrome grille. The range of electronic pickup systems will include uphill and downhill assist, emergency braking, all-round visibility and lane keep assist.
All technical characteristics of the car are still kept secret. According to Motoring, the range of engines will include a 2.3-liter diesel engine with four cylinders. The power of the unit is 190 hp. and 450 Nm of torque. The motor can work in conjunction with a six-speed manual transmission and a seven-speed automatic gearbox.
In Europe, the Nissan Navara pickup was updated last year. The car received an upgraded suspension, an improved engine and a new gearbox. In addition, the car became available with a new infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and the ability to control a number of car functions via a smartphone.
