By the end of the Los Angeles International Motor Show, we’ve already thought about the following updates at the NAIAS Detroit Auto Show and its electric debuts. Nissan and Infiniti are preparing to demonstrate new technical solutions in electrifying cars.

Chief Designer Nissan and Infiniti previously announced that both brands will show their own new products at the 2019 North American International Auto Show. The show will be held in Detroit from January 12th. Apparently, new cars will represent the electrified segment using the new architecture.

Unfortunately, now there are no details about future updates. All the details will be known closer to the start of the NAIAS automobile show. It is also expected that the new items will be shown at the future Tokyo Motor Show. In a recent interview, Alfonso Albaisa, the chief executive officer of the global design department, said that he would continue the ideas invested in the Infiniti Q Insipiration conceptual model.

It is assumed that the Japanese brand will equip future concepts with batteries created using a new technology. According to preliminary information, they will also be used for future trucks. A feature of new batteries will be a greater density of elements and a smaller thickness of the unit itself. Together with them will work more efficient electric motors.

Alfonso also noted that the Nissan Group has a number of technological advantages, including an all-electric platform. In the future, Nissan and Infiniti will show a whole family of electric cars.
